Grubs CERAMIC 5.0 S5 Boots

Grubs CERAMIC 5.0 S5 safety wellington boots use non-metallic materials, this means it conducts neither cold nor electricity making them popular in a wider field of safety footwear.

Features: 

• CERAMIC SAFETY TOE - complies with BS EN ISO 203450 S5 without cold absorbing/ emitting metal materials.
• DEFENDER, 5mm Ballistic insole - lightweight and flexible whilst passing both BS EN ISO 20344: 2004 5.8.2 penetration standard and BS EN ISO 20344: 2004 5.9 flex resistance, without the cold of Steel.
• 5MM INSUFOAM-ULTRA NEOPRENE WITH CALF HEIGHT RUBBER - all-round foot comfort and warmth
• 4mm rubber over the whole foot area makes it highly resistant to puncture and flex cracking.
• 6mm NITROCELL footbed - provides a soft cushioning for an athletic shoe feel. A million microscopic nitrogen bubbles that insulate the wearer from cold surfaces.
• TREDZ (DURAPRENE rubber) outsole - superior grip on a variety of surfaces, the tread is designed to work with the action of the foot, is oil resistant, and passes TM144: 1999slip resistance test.
• COMFORT RATING - -20ºc to +20ºc

Sizing Recommendations 

Most wellington boot manufacturers recommend that you go a size up and wear them with a pair of think socks, With Grubs Boots this is NOT the case!

Grubs boots are designed to be true to size, to avoid having to return your boots for a size change we recommend that you order your regular shoe size. 

Standard U.K. sizes for men and women (unisex sizing). Boots and shoes are available in whole sizes only but will stretch to fit half sizes. There is a 15mm toe allowance built into the sizing. Grubs Boots are made to standard widths, but the materials will stretch comfortably to fit widths up to a EEEE. For narrow feet, we suggest wearing a thicker sock or putting in an additional footbed to take up room.

Over the years we have tried numerous different pairs across the range to find ourselves that this advice is accurate. Owner 'Drew' at Wylies Outdoor World is a size 9 in regular and outdoor footwear and has found Grubs to be true to size. 

Lauren our assistant manager is a size 6 in regular footwear and has tested most of the Grubs women's lifestyle and equestrian models and also finds the size 6 throughout the ranges she has tried are accurate
