Meet Helle Berget, Helle’s first ever standard model with Micarta handle scales. Small and sturdy, the Berget folding knife is based on the smallest module in Helle’s folding lineup. Its sturdy construction and scandi-grind makes it the perfect outdoor knife – easy to carry in your pocket and a solid tool for your outdoor adventures. The 55 mm blade in 12C27 steel has a traditional drop-point blade and a nail nick for ease of opening. The sturdy back lock and 2.7mm thick blade means that knife feels and performs like a fixed blade when in a locked position.

The handle scales are made from Micarta, creating a durable and comfortable handle that is easy to maintain. The ever-so-slightly curved shape of the handle is reminiscent of Heileberget, the flat mountain range overlooking Helle’s home fjord of Dalsfjorden that also gives the model its name. The slim and slightly curved shape gives it a comfortable grip. The handle is held by screws and can be easily detached if cleaning is needed.

It is illegal to dispatch any bladed tool without passing the age verification process.

After placing your order, you must complete the age verification step immediately. Failure to do so will result in delays or cancellation of your order. This is a legal requirement for all UK knife retailers.

For all age-restricted items, we use Royal Mail Tracked services within the UK. This ensures compliance with legal obligations and provides secure, trackable delivery.

Shipping Charges

We offer free shipping on orders over £100. Orders under £100 are charged a flat rate of £5.99. Some long, heavy, or oversized items may incur additional shipping costs, which will be clearly shown at checkout.

Dispatch & Delivery Times

Drew personally packs all orders. Please allow up to 2 working days for dispatch. This allows time for order processing, age verification, and maintaining personal customer service standards.

Average delivery is 3–5 working days. Many parcels arrive sooner, but delays may occur if age verification is not completed promptly.

30-Day Returns & Exchanges

Wylie's Outdoor World's owner, Drew, also handles all returns and exchanges personally.

We offer a 30-day (from the date of purchase) return and exchange policy. You may return most new, unopened, unused, and unworn items within 30 days of your order for a refund or exchange. You must contact us within 14 days of delivery to initiate the return process.

Some products (such as used batteries and underwear) are non-returnable. Returned items must be in a resellable, brand-new condition to qualify for a refund or exchange.

How to Request a Return

Log into your account, view your order using the “Complete Orders” link under the My Account menu, and click the “Return Item(s)” button. Indicate whether you’d like a refund or exchange. Drew will confirm and issue instructions (including invoice if exchanging), then await the returned item.

Refund Processing Times

Refunds are typically issued within one week of receiving the returned item.

Please allow 3–5 working days for returns or exchanges to be processed once your item arrives. Most are handled faster, depending on workload.

Having decided on the particular brand of jackets that I wanted, a google search led me to Wylies where, happily, their sale was on. Sadly, I couldn't see the sizes/colours needed, so emailed querying whether they might be in stock, or could be obtained, at what price and how quickly. Although closed for holidays, Drew, the owner, emailed me back almost immediately with options and offers of guidance regarding sizing. Brilliant! So, 29th July I place an online order for one jacket (not in stock at the time) which then arrives on my doorstep on Friday 2nd August. I call that an absolutely ace and very personal service from a company that obviously cares about customer satisfaction.
