The Eggen is one of Helle's most sought after knives, so they have introduced the Eggen 12C27 − same design and feel, now with the option of a non-laminated blade.
The 12C27 steel offers a different feel to the blade with its stiffer flex. The fully hardened blade (since it is not laminated) can also be converted to having a sharp spine, for all of you who want to use the knife with a ferro rod.
The Eggen 12C27 has a beautiful handle, crafted from one piece of selected curly birch, carefully sanded and polished by hand to a satin finish. The handle has a well-proportioned finger guard for safety.
