With so many of you tree swingers getting all the attention lately and the release of the new DD 3X3 PRO Tarp I decided that as soon as I got my hands on one that I would make up a complete package for you ground dwellers.

I have been testing it out myself for the last little while, although I normally test something for months before really recommending it, I do already have extensive experience with everything in the package. The only new addition to this package is the DD 3x3 Pro Tarp and after getting my hands on it I would definitely say it's geared towards the ground dwellers and does offer some new flexibility that really is only limited by your imagination.

So after having it out and working out ways to use it most effectively, I have adapted the carry system I have used for a while with my hammock set up.

Based on the popular 3x3 tarp, and born out of innovation and testing in the field, the DD Hammocks Tarp 3x3 Pro offers limitless set-up options and versatility with a number of new and advanced features as detailed below.

Comfortable for use in temperatures down to -5C, the DD Hammocks Jura 2 Sleeping Bag is central-zipped with a waterproof foot box. Designed to let you step into it on wet ground, pull it up around you and sit back into your hammock.

  • Waterproof footbox (inside and out) made from Oxford nylon
  • Large, sturdy centre zip for ease of entry
  • Neck and zip baffles, and an adjustable hood to be closed snugly around you
  • 2 internal mesh pockets set at an angle to prevent items from falling out

DD Inflatable Mat:

The DD Inflatable Mat has a tapered foot end, making it ideal to fit inside your hammock as an insulation pad. The DD Hammocks Inflatable Mat is also great for bivi camping and is lightweight enough not to weigh you down on the trail. The DD Inflatable Mat is can also be used as a roll-out mat for bivi camping.

We ship to UK mainland predominantly. However, we can ship internationally on request.

We use DPD exclusively for all UK orders as standard. We offer free shipping on all orders over £50. Orders under £50 are charged a £5.99. (Some long, or overly heavy/large items will vary in shipping cost)

Dispatch & Delivery Times

Drew also packs customers’ orders personally. We ask you to allow 2 days to process orders. This allows Drew adequate time to process orders, be the sole point of contact for all our customers, and manage our website. On average delivery time is 3 to 5 working days. However, Drew is quite efficient. Orders are often processed and delivered in a shorter time.

30 Day Returns & Exchanges

Wylie's Outdoor World's owner 'Drew' handles all returns and exchanges personally.

We offer a 30-day (from the date of purchase) returns and exchange policy. You may return most new, unopened, unworn, and unused items within 30 days of your order date for a refund or exchange. However, you must contact us within 14 days to inform us. (Some items in our store are non-returnable, such as used batteries and underwear, for example.) We must be able to resell a product again as brand new.

How to Request a Return

If you need to return an item, simply log in to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu, and click the Return Item(s) button. Please let us know if you would prefer a refund or an exchange. Drew will confirm your selection and send you an invoice (if applicable for exchanges) and await your return to arrive with us.

Refunds

You should expect to receive your refund within one week of us receiving your return.

Processing Times

Please allow Drew 3 to 5 days to process your returns or exchanges. However, the turnaround time is often faster than this.

I bought 2 x DD Hammocks/Tarp and sleeping bag bundles from Drew at Wylies Outdoor World, the customer service was above and beyond and second to none. Drew actively went the extra mile to save me money on the kits since both came with excess paracord and ridge line, so Drew took the time to reach out call and talk me though my order and explain how he was working to save me a few quid. The delivery was very fast and without any hassle, and well packaged. Even a few years on after making the purchase Drew is more than happy to help and answer any questions and advice and is always a friendly voice and fountain of knowledge at the end of a phone, which is my next point, Wylies Outdoor World is incredibly accessible to all and customer focused.
