We test products several nights a week, for long periods of time in real world scenarios, when we are cold, wet, or in low light conditions, and particularly when the weather is poor.

The Complete Whoopie Suspension System makes a quick and easy job of setting up any DD hammock.

Using the Whoopie Suspension System means that you can alter the hang of your hammock in seconds, without unwrapping any webbing from the tree. The bark-friendly Tree Huggers grip the tree and allow you to clip your whoopie slings to its loops.

 

System Includes:
  • 2 x 1.8m Whoopie Slings in super-strength 2.5mm Amsteel rope
  • 2 x 2m Tree Huggers - bark-friendly straps allowing the whoopie slings to be connected safely to the tree
  • 2 x Climbing Karabiners

    DD Whoopie Slings:

    A pair of DD Hammocks ready-made Whoopie Slings provide the lightest and most compact suspension for your hammock. Upgrade your hammock webbing to these high-strength slings to make it even easier to alter the height and angle of your hang.
    A fantastic modification for anyone looking to reduce the pack weight of their hammock.

      Avoid direct contact with trees: this can damage the tree. We recommend connecting your slings to trees using the Tree Hugger straps.

      These light and super-strong karabiners, made by UK climbing specialists DMM, are perfect for your hammock suspension system. In fact, they can be safely and securely put to a whole host of camping uses.

        DD Tree Huggers:

        Designed to grip but not damage trees, the DD Hammocks Tree Hugger straps are wrapped around the tree as many times as required and have two end loops onto which you can clip your whoopie slings.

          30 day Returns & Exchanges

          Wylie's Outdoor World's owner 'Drew' handles all returns, and exchanges personally.

          We offer a 30-day (from the date of purchase) returns and exchange policy. You may return most new, unopened, unworn, and unused items within 30 days of your order date for a refund or exchange. However you must contact us within 14 days to inform us. (Some items in our store are non-returnable) such as used batteries, and underwear for example. We must be able to resell a product again as brand new.

          Refunds

          You should expect to receive your refund within one week of us receiving our return. ).

          How to request a return

          If you need to return an item, simply log in to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu, and click the Return Item(s) button. Please let us know if you would prefer a refund, or an exchange. Drew will confirm your selection and send you an invoice (If applicable for exchanges) and await your return to arrive with us.

          Processing Times

          Please, allow Drew 3 to 5 days to process your returns or exchanges. However, the "turnaround" time is often faster than this.

          Shipping

          We ship to UK mainland predominantly. However, we can ship internationally on request.

          We use DPD exclusively for all UK orders as standard. We offer free shipping on all orders over £100, orders under £100 are charged a £5.99. (Some long, or overly heavy/large items will vary in shipping cost)

          Dispatch & Delivery Times

          Drew also packs customers orders personally. We ask you to allow 2 days to process orders. This allows Drew adequate time to process orders, be the sole point of contact for all our customers, and manage our website. On average delivery time is 3 to 5 working days. However, Drew is quite efficient. Orders are often processed and delivered in a shorter time.

          Having decided on the particular brand of jackets that I wanted, a google search led me to Wylies where, happily, their sale was on. Sadly, I couldn't see the sizes/colours needed, so emailed querying whether they might be in stock, or could be obtained, at what price and how quickly. Although closed for holidays, Drew, the owner, emailed me back almost immediately with options and offers of guidance regarding sizing. Brilliant! So, 29th July I place an online order for one jacket (not in stock at the time) which then arrives on my doorstep on Friday 2nd August. I call that an absolutely ace and very personal service from a company that obviously cares about customer satisfaction.
