A SMALL, OUTDOOR SPECIALIST RETAILER, OWNED BY A PROFESSIONAL PRODUCT TESTER
Designed to provide year-round insulation, our Talus Jacket is filled with thermally efficient Primaloft® Gold insulation.
Warm, lightweight, and compressible, it’s the perfect thermal layer for typical UK conditions. Wear it all day or — in warmer conditions — keep it in your pack ‘just in case’.
Features:
Benefits:
Less weighty Primaloft insulation in the arms means protection for your body without losing arm movement.
Primaloft insulation gives a high level of warmth, but without having to carry around lots of extra weight.
Unlike down, the unique Primaloft insulation keeps working even when wet, so you don’t need to worry about getting caught in a downpour.
Fabric Technology:
Flylite fabric is designed to give superb wind resistance and excellent breathability – making it ideal for lightweight outerwear. Flylite Aqua adds waterproof properties, while Flylite Ripstop focuses on windproof performance.
PrimaLoft is incredibly soft, lightweight, and breathable with excellent water repellency so you remain dry, warm, and comfortable, even under the most extreme conditions.
Ounce for ounce as warm as down, Primaloft microfibres are similar in size and shape to down, resulting in nearly equal insulating performance when dry and even better when wet.
Because its fibers are water-repellent, Primaloft retains much of its ability to keep you warm, even when moisture has soaked through.
Primaloft Gold Active is designed to regulate your comfort level during intense activity while offering performance without compromise in a wide range of conditions.
Similar to the structure of down with incredible softness, Primaloft is highly compressible and easy to stuff. Its resilient fibers are quick to regain their loft to provide uncompromising insulation.
Primaloft insulation is soft and supple-like down, making it an excellent choice for active outerwear.
It allows unrestricted movement and its light weight makes it comfortable for extended wear.
Fitting Info:
Keela's range is used for everything from running and cycling to conquering mountains, and each item is designed to work best in a specific scenario.
However this can mean that our items fit differently from each other, depending on what you are using them for, and your personal preferences!
For example, if you’re usually a size M and have one of Keela's baselayers in a size M and decide you really MUST have a Munro Jacket for walking your dogs in the pouring rain – if you aren’t planning on wearing multiple bulky layers with the Munro, you’re likely to find the size M too big – this is because it’s designed to survive trips up mountains in the most extreme conditions, where you would need to wear a wicking baselayer, maybe a microfleece, and a thicker fleece or thermal jacket. If you’re not going to wear these layers, you’ll have a lot of extra space!
Still confused? Don’t worry! We’ve added icons to our product pages to let you know how the item fits, and you can follow the extra guidance below to help you decide if you should stick to your normal size, or choose a size up or down.

We offer a 30-day (from the date of purchase) returns and exchange policy. You may return most new, unopened, unworn, and unused items within 30 days of your order date for a refund or exchange. (Some items in our store are non-returnable) such as used batteries, and underwear for example. We must be able to resell a product again as brand new.
If you need to return an item, simply log in to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu, and click the Return Item(s) button. Please let us know if you would prefer a refund, or an exchange. Drew will confirm your selection and send you an invoice (If applicable for exchanges) and await your return to arrive with us.
Please, allow Drew 3 to 5 days to process your returns or exchanges. However, the "turnaround" time is often faster than this.
We ship to UK mainland predominantly. However, we can ship internationally on request.
We use DPD exclusively for all UK orders as standard. We offer free shipping on all orders over £100, orders under £100 are charged a £5.99. (Some long, or overly heavy/large items will vary in shipping cost)
Drew also packs customers orders personally. We ask you to allow 2 days to process orders. This allows Drew adequate time to process orders, be the sole point of contact for all our customers, and manage our website. On average delivery time is 3 to 5 working days. However, Drew is quite efficient. Orders are often processed and delivered in a shorter time.
Sizing for all Keela kit
You can find below Keela's range of sizing charts on which their garments are based. These are designed to give you an idea of the fit of our items - but please note that some items are designed to be a tighter or looser fit than others (for example, a technical mountain-expedition jacket will be designed looser to fit required padded layering underneath) - so we give extra fit guidance on the individual product pages, as if the item is designed with extra space but you're not planning on layering, you may want to get a smaller size than normal!
