Description

The British Army Knife by Kombat UK is a high-quality reproduction of the MOD-issued British Army Survival Fixed Blade Knife. Designed to be a jack of all trades the knife is a heavier blade weighing in at 500g, full full-tanged design with black wooden handle scales, and the convex secondary grind with a blade length of 18cm. Making it a truly versatile tool capable of chopping, and batoning wood but at the same time being capable of finer tasks such as carving tent pegs, feather sticks, pot hangers, and any other task you need a knife to do.

    Recommendations:

Try Nathan's Honing Oil from Lansky from our store or baby oil, Both are cheap, Each will offer at least a measure of protection to the black oxide coating on the blade from batoning wood, and both are a great fuel to help a struggling fire catch hold in soaking wet conditions. So worth having in your rucksack.

The blade itself has a 90-degree back spine however it does have a black oxide coating. This can be easily removed on a small section of the spine, with a file or something similar to give you a sharp, 90-degree spine for striking your Ferro rod.
