A SMALL, OUTDOOR SPECIALIST RETAILER, OWNED BY A PROFESSIONAL PRODUCT TESTER
The Optimus Polaris Optifuel Tactical burns any available fuel - LPG gas, white gas, kerosene, diesel, even jet fuel. This single-jet technology delivers reliable cooking performance without changing nozzles or attachments. When you're overlanding through remote areas or trekking distant jungles where fuel supply is uncertain, this 485g stove maintains cooking capability when standard equipment fails.
One jet burns everything available on the road. LPG gas canisters work for standard camping, but when overland routes take you through remote regions where gas isn't available, switch to liquid fuels. White gas burns cleanest, kerosene is available worldwide, diesel can be found at any fuel station, and jet fuel works in remote airstrips. No other stove provides this expedition fuel flexibility.
The integrated magnetic cleaning needle clears jet blockages during cooking - critical when you're weeks from civilization and equipment failure means cold meals. The self-purging FLIP STOP pump clears fuel lines and depressurizes bottles safely. The durable aluminum pump handles repeated use in harsh expedition environments where plastic components fail under stress.
The 4-season mode increases heat output when using gas canisters in cold conditions - essential when overlanding takes you to high altitude or arctic regions where standard gas stoves lose pressure. Liquid fuels maintain performance regardless of temperature extremes. The quick-priming burner requires less preheating than traditional liquid fuel stoves, saving fuel and time during expedition cooking.
Liquid fuel mode produces 4200W (14,340 BTU) - enough power to melt snow efficiently and cook for expedition teams in remote conditions. Gas mode delivers 3300W (11,267 BTU) for standard camping use. The 100-minute burn time with 400ml of liquid fuel covers extended expeditions, including snow melting for water in challenging environments.
Liquid fuel bottles are sold separately - our fuel selection includes gas canisters and liquid fuel options for different expedition requirements.

Serious outdoorsmen tackling remote expeditions need equipment that works when fuel options are limited. Whether you're overlanding through Scotland's remote Highlands, trekking through distant jungles, or crossing continents where fuel availability varies, this stove handles whatever fuel you can find. When standard camping stoves fail, liquid fuel keeps you cooking.
